It is really important that you bring your Bible with you to Church each Sunday – as they are the anointed and ordained letters and books through which God perfectly explains His eternal path of salvation, and of His relationship with humanity.
The Bible is the common language we share world-wide as Christians. Not only are we able to encourage each other with well known verses, but we have the knowledge that no matter where other believers are, no matter what situation or circumstances, God’s Word is the same – yesterday, today and forever. It is our common ground and reference point in life and faith.

And while God can speak to us through any source or media, He chooses to speak clearly through the Bible - due to the writers of it seeking His face and will for the situations they encountered in the Bible days, and subsequently similar situations in each of our lives as well.
God also speaks to us through the Bible because we are familiar with it, and He can easily bring verses and scriptures to our minds to direct and guide our lives.
The Bible changes us and influences our steps in life, and this is how we ‘take on the mind of Christ’ and be like Him. (Philippians 2:5)
Each Sunday I will share Gateway Scriptures with you, that are Keys that explain and unlock important Bible concepts and principles.
I encourage you to underline or high-light these Scriptures in your Bibles, and also write a list of them (with brief topic they cover) on the inside of your Bible cover.
And as we read the Bible, Romans 10:17 promises us that our faith to believe and trust in God will be increased.
My goal is for your spiritual growth, that you come to know God more and more, that your hunger for reading the Bible will grow stronger each and every day, that you will hunger after God in prayer, in worship and in fellowship with other Christians who will encourage you to become all that God desires you to be!
